To celebrate an occasion we always choose sweets.......so here also I like to celebrate this moment with a sweet.The famous sweet boondhi laddoo......
Ingredients:
2C Besan Flour
1 1/2C Water
2 Drops of yellow color
Oil for frying
1tbsp Fried cashews and raisins
For Sugar syrup:
1 1/2 C Sugar
1 to 1 1/4 C of water
A pinch of Saffron (optional)
1/2tsp Cardamom powder
Method:
1.Sieve the besan flour and keep aside.
2.Mix the water slowly to this flour and mix the batter without lumps.
3.It should not be so thick or so thin.
4.Add a drop of yellow color in the batter.
5.Now in a pan heat sugar,water ,saffron,cardamom powder and a 2 drops of yellow color in this too.
6.Boil the syrup till one thread consistency.
7.Off the flame anf keep aside.
8.Heat oil in a kadai.
9.Now pour the batter through laddle with holes directly to the hot oil.
10.Fry the balls till done but the boodhis should not be so crispy.
11.Now strain the boodhis from oil and put into the sugar syrup.
12.Fry all the boodhis and pu to the sugar syrup.
13.Add the fried cashews and raisins to this.
14.Now mix the boodhis well in the sugar syrup.
15.Make balls out of this while its warm or it will be little difficult to make the laddoos.
16.Laddoos ready to enjoy!!!!
