Neopolitan Cake

Hi friends!! This is my first post of this year.I know this is a late post.But was busy with many things and health was also not so good.
This is a 3 layer cake with 3 different flavours.Strawberry,chocolate and vanilla flavour.

Now to the recipe..


































Ingredients:


For Strawberry Cake:

3/4 c All purpose flour
1tbsp Corn flour
3/4 to 1c Sugar
1tsp baking powder
2 Large egg
3tbsp oil
1c Strawberry puree(I used puree of fresh strawberries)
1/2tsp Strawberry essence
Few drops of red color

For Chocolate Cake:


1/2 c All purpose flour
1tbsp Corn flour
3/4 to 1c Sugar
1tsp baking powder
2 Large egg
3tbsp oil
2tbsp Cocoa powder
1/2tsp Vanilla essence

For Vanilla Cake:


1/2 c All purpose flour
1tbsp Corn flour
3/4 to 1c Sugar
1tsp baking powder
2 Large egg
3tbsp oil
1 tsp Vanilla essence






















































Method:

Strawberry Cake:

1.Puree the strawberries with little sugar in a blender.
2.Keep it aside.
3.In a bowl sieve the flours and baking powder.
4.In another bowl beat the eggs and sugar well.
5.Now add the flour and fold in well.
6.Now add the oil and fold in well.
7.Now add the strawberry puree and mix well.
8.Add the red color and strawberry essence.
9.Preheat the oven at 200 degree C for 15 mins.
10.Pour this batter in a  greased cake tin and bake the cake at 175 degree C for 30 to 35 mins or till the tester comes out clean.
11.Allow the cake to cool completely.

Chocolate Cake:


1.Sieve the all purpose flour,corn flour ,cocoa powder,baking powder and keep aside.
2.In a bowl beat the eggs and sugar till creamy and increases its volume.
3.Now add the vanilla essence and mix well.
4.Now add the flour mix little by little and fold in well.
5.Add the oil and mix .
6.Preheat the oven at 200 degree C for 15 mins.
7.Grease the cake tin.
8.Pour the batter in the prepared pan.
9.Bake this at 175 degree C for 15 mins or till the tester comes out clean.
10.Allow the cake to cool totally.

Vanilla Cake:


1.Beat the egg and sugar till very creamy and pale.
2.Sift the flour,baking powder  and keep aside.
3.Add Vanilla essence to the beaten egg.
4.Now slowly add the flour mixture to the egg mixture and fold in with big strokes.
5.Fold in till all the flour is mixed with the egg mixture.
6.Now add the oil and just give some strokes.
7.Grease a cake tin and line with parchment paper.
8.Preheat the oven at 200 degree C for 15 mins.
9.Now pour the batter to the tin.
10.Bake the cake at 165 degree C for 15 mins or till the tester comes out clean.Allow the cake to cool completely.


















For Frosting:

3 Sachet dream whip powder
1/2 to 3/4 C Cold milk
1/2tsp Vanilla essence
1/2 c Fresh Strawberry
2tsp Sugar
A little red color and 1tbsp cocoa powder for decorating

Method:

1.Cook the strawberries,sugar and little water.
2.Keep this aside to cool.3.In a bowl beat the dreamwhip powder,milk and vanilla essence till fluffy.
4.Once the cakes get cooled spread the whipping cream and layer the cakes.
5.First the strawberry cake,then vanilla cake and lastly chocolate cake.
6.In between the strawberry cake and vanilla cake on top of whipping cream spread some cooked and cooled strawberry puree.
7.Now layer the chocolate cake over the vanilla cake.
8.Now spread the whipping cream all over the cake.
9.Decorate the cake as per ur choice.
10.Keep the cake in the fridge to cool.
11.Slice and enjoy the taste of strawberry,chocolate and vanilla in one slice of cake!!!!!!!
