Vegetable kuruma

Whenever I’m lazy to cook I tries out something simple like this.Mostly in Thursdays the dishes will be so simple…….because we go for shopping on Fridays.So Thursdays will be out off stuff.So I make something simple dishes with what always there will be in my kitchen………………..


















Ingredients:

2 medium potatoes
1 carrot
1 cup green peas
1 big tomato
2 medium onions
3 cloves garlic
Small piece ginger
2 green chilly
1 tsp coriander powder
1 cup coconut milk(fresh coconut milk or coconut milk powder can b used)
½tsp turmeric powder
1 and half tsp red chilly powder
2 pods cardamom
2 cloves
Small piece cinnamon stick
2 bay leaves
Half tsp fennel seeds
Oil

Method:

1.cut vegetables and boil it.
2.In another pan heat oil put the spices(cardamom,cloves,cinnamonsticks and fennel seeds) now when it starts spluttering put chopped onions.saute it well.
3.Add chopped ginger and garlic.
4.After sauting those well add the powder spices.saute it well.
5.Now when the raw smell goes away add chopped tomatoes.
6.When the tomatoes are soft add the cooked vegetables and mix well.
7.Now add coconut milk.I used coconut milk powder.Off the flame when it just starts boiling.
8.Add curry leaves and coriander leaves.
9.This is good to have with chapathis and puris.
