Potato Bajji

This is an easy snack……….potatoes are really good for health and for kids also…… is like that 1 small size potato is substituted with an egg for those who don’t eat eggs………..


1 Big potato
1c Besan Flour
½ tsp Redchilly powder
¼ tsp Turmeric powder
¼ tsp Hing Powder
½ tsp Baking soda
Oil for frying

1.Cut the potatoes into thin pieces.
2.In a bowl mix the rest of the ingredients into a medium thick batter.
3.Keep this for 5mins.
4.Now heat oil in a kadai.
5.Dip each piece of potato in the batter and deep fry this till crispy and golden brown.
6.Serve hot.

It is a favorite snack for many in South India. It is very easy to make. But, it is not suggested to eat many because of the ingredients and quantity of oil used.
